Watch Overview

This is a vintage E. Howard pocket watch, dating to circa 1906. It features a white enamel dial with bold black Roman numerals with a black railroad minute track, blue steel hands and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

It is an manual-wind pocket watch powered by the original E. Howard Watch Co. mechanical movement, grade Series 3, featuring 17 jewels, size 16s, model 1905, small-seconds and made in the U.S.A. It is adjusted to three positions, temperature, and isochronism for precision timekeeping.

The watch is housed in a 49.5mm round hunter yellow gold filled case with double hinged case back (double cuvette), featuring a protective front cover, and an inner dust cover. It has an elegant engraved finish, paired with a classic bow and crown located at 3 o'clock position.

Presented in working condition with a clean movement and well-preserved dial, this piece represents an excellent collectible example of early American horology.
