Watch Overview

This is a vintage Zodiac Triple Date Moonphase wristwatch, reference 1721 dated from the 1950s. It is presented with its original box and registry card.

It is a manual-wind watch powered by the original Zodiac mechanical movement, caliber Zodiac 1100 (based on ETA 1100), with 17 jewels and sweep seconds. It features a triple calendar with central pointer date, day and month indicators with quick-set, and a moonphase display with quick-set. The movement runs at 18,000 vibrations per hour and has an approximate power reserve of 42 hours. Swiss made.

The beige dial shows light signs of age and is accented by applied Arabic numerals, arrow hour markers, a minute track, and matching hands. Pointer date track with the day and month windows at 12 o’clock and the moonphase at 6 o’clock.

The watch is housed in a 33 mm round gold-tone stainless steel case with the two quick-set pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. It is fitted with a brand-new black two-piece strap.

Fully inspected and authenticated by our in-house watchmaker, the watch runs well and is ready to wear and enjoy.
